Background of Non-IgG BsAb

A unique class of antibody known as BsAb is capable of reacting with two distinct targets at once, such as cells, ligands, receptors, antigens, and epitopes. Bispecific single-domain antibodies, bispecific diabodies, bispecific Fab domains, and so on are examples of the various structures and formats that can be created for BsAbs (see Fig. 1). These structures and formats are generally classified into two classes: IgG-like (structures that contain an Fc region) and non-IgG-like (structures lacking an Fc region). Since these broad-spectrum BsAbs bind to both a target and a cytotoxic cell at the same time, they are highly effective for cancer immunotherapy and are widely used for diagnosis, prophylaxis, drug delivery, and therapy.

identify exosome

Exosomes are distinguished by their distinct internal contents and membrane proteins. The identification of particular exosomal markers, such as internal protein TSG101 and membrane proteins CD63, CD9, and CD81, allows for the quantification of exosome purity and the confirmation of exosome presence in samples. Furthermore, distinct marker proteins may be expressed by exosomes secreted by various cell types. By identifying these specific markers, researchers can differentiate and identify exosomes originating from diverse cellular sources.

STEMOD™ Neuroscience Ex Vivo Models

Neuroscience, also known as neurobiology, is the scientific study of the structure and function of the nervous system. Combined with multiple disciplines, it focuses on the study of the nervous system with different approaches and different scales. Neural tissue damage in the peripheral nervous system (PNS) and central nervous system (CNS) may result in multiple neurological diseases and even life-long disabilities. Neural tissue engineering is a promising strategy for neural repair and neurological diseases treatment. In this case, proper preclinical models are required to mimic the micro-environment. Here, Creative Biolabs has developed the STEMOD™ neuroscience ex vivo models for our clients all over the world.

MSCs Isolation and Expansion

MSCs can be isolated from a variety of tissues, including bone marrow, muscle, cartilage, and adipose tissues, as well as from a variety of sources. In addition, MSCs have been found in the endometrium, breast milk, menstrual blood, pancreatic tissue, different dental tissues, and fetal dermis tissues. Furthermore, under specific circumstances, dedifferentiation of differentiated cells may increase a tissue's MSC pool. The characteristics of cells from various tissues vary, such as the expression of cell surface markers and their capacity for differentiation. It is possible for populations that originate from a single source to exhibit heterogeneity and differing developmental potential.

chemical formula for a lipid

It has been reported that the composition and preparation methods of liposomes have a great influence on the basic properties of liposomes, such as polydispersity index, average particle size, drug loading efficiency, zeta potential, drug release behavior, and intracellular drug uptake. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the composition of liposomes.

light dark box test mice

The LDB test is a popular animal model used in pharmacology to assay unconditioned anxiety response in rodents. The LDB apparatus has two compartments. The large light compartment (2/3 of the box) is brightly lit and open, while the small dark compartment (1/3 of the box) is covered and dark. A door of 7 cm connects the two compartments. Rodents are placed in the middle of the brightly illuminated chamber and are allowed to move freely between the two chambers. They prefer darker areas, however, when presented in a novel environment, they have a tendency to explore. These two conflicting emotions lead to observable anxiety-like symptoms. When rodents are injected with anxiolytic drugs, time spent in the light compartment will increase. But when anxiogenic drugs are injected, more time is spent in the dark compartment. Polysaccharides Antibody Development Services

Natural antibodies (NAb) are defined as those immunoglobulins (mainly IgM isotype) continuously secreted by B1 type lymphocytes without any previous external antigen stimulation. To date, a broad range of NAb target carbohydrates (NAbC) have been characterized and can be divided into three different groups: 1) conservative NAbC that are practically the same regarding specificity and blood levels in all healthy individuals; 2) alloantibodies to blood group antigens and xenoantibodies to antigens from other species; 3) plastic antibodies, which include antibodies from the two previous groups but with variable levels during certain conditions, such as pregnancy or inflammation. In addition, studies have shown that some NAbCs could react to tumor-associated carbohydrate antigens, which are associated with worse tumor progression.
